Hinesburg Hair Studio has a vision of being a friendly, positive, and all-inclusive hair salon. We strive to be the most comfortable hair salon you've ever been to. You'll hear a lot of laughter and salon-wide conversations. We don't try to fit in, we try to make sure everyone fits.

Our Team

LAURA

I started the salon in 2015 with a partner. My partner has since left the business, so I'm running solo (a big thank you to Scott Shumway for making this all possible). I've been doing hair since 2007. I love all aspects of hair and approach the trade with a scientific mind. A lot of what I do is artistic, but following the rules of chemistry, physics, architecture, and color theory.

I live right in Hinesburg with my two daughters and Lola, the salon dog.

Some of my favorite things to do: Fashion/vibrant colors, first haircuts, creative styles, gender affirming haircuts, but I really just love my job all around!

CHELSEA

I've also been doing hair since 2007. I live nearby with my two sons and husband.
